Szum rzek – Upių ošimas
„Szum rzek” był taki sam wieki temu, a jednocześnie woda w nich płynie, żyje i jest niepowtarzalna nadal. My, młodzi z pogranicza Polski i Litwy, jesteśmy tacy sami; mamy wspólnych przodków, wzrastamy w tym samym krajobrazie, a jednocześnie zasadniczo się różnimy od pokolenia naszych ojców i dziadków związanych z inną epoką. W projekcie nie będziemy głównie czytali książek, lecz z nurtem rzek, aktywnie, smakując zdrowy styl życia, popłyniemy pod prąd dziejów w poszukiwaniu swojej tożsamości, w duchu międzykulturowego i międzyetnicznego dialogu. Skoro do Niemna nadal spływają wszystkie źródełka i rzeki, to i my odnajdziemy to, co nas łączy: nasz międzykulturowy język, który zabierzemy ze sobą na zawsze, niezależnie gdzie przyjdzie nam żyć. Podobnie jak „European heritageclasses” (np.”Celts”, ”Silk Routes”) wyruszymy razem na zatarte szlaki, aby zmazać posttotalitarny grzech niepamięci. Nasz Projekt chce odkrywać „Europę Ojczyzn”, chce budować osobowość młodego Europejczyka z tej części UE, który zakorzeniony we wspólnym dziedzictwie, nie podda się współczesnym nacjonalizmom i nietolerancji.
“The noise of the river flow” has been the same centuries ago, but still water is flowing, is alive is something extraordinary. We the young from the Polish- Lithuanian boarder-line are the same; we have our common ancestors, we grow u in similar landscape, but at the same time we ore completely different from the generation of our fathers and grandfathers who were associated with another age. In this project we are not going to read books but we are going to go with the flow of the river, tasting healthy style of life, we shall go against the tide of the history searching for our identity. If all the streams and small rivers flow to the Niemen river, we shall also find something that integrates us; our inter cultural language which we shall take with us for ever, no matter where we shall live in future. Similarly to “European heritage classes like the Celts and Silk Routes, we are going to set off looking for untouched trails in order to erase the post totalitarianism sin of oblivion. Our project wants to discover the Europe of home country , it wants to build personality of a young European in the part of Europe which has its roots in common heritage and which is not liked by modern nationalism and intolerance.
